Wedding venue management software, from the couple’s page to the pass

Updated September 15, 2026.

Banquette is wedding venue management software for venues with their own kitchen: the couple gets a private page with no login, every guest RSVPs on a link of their own with a note for the kitchen, and the chef gets a printed sheet with every note on it.

Every wedding comes down to a guest list nobody enjoys keeping. It arrives as a spreadsheet at midnight with four columns and no dietary notes, and someone retypes it into a prep sheet at seven in the morning. Banquette keeps that list, the event contract and the banquet event order (BEO) on one book, and the rest of the day around them.

Plainly, for wedding venues
  • The couple gets a private page: no account, no password, for them or their guests.
  • Each guest RSVPs on their own link, with one note the kitchen sheet prints.
  • Tables are laid out from the head count. Named guests are not seated at tables, and there are no place cards.
  • Payment schedules show what is due and what is late. Nothing is charged online; the office takes payment as it does today.
  • Florals, rentals and the band sit on the party with their load-in times.
  • Not yet: per-guest meal choice, guest-room blocks, paying vendors.
  • Solo is $249/month; House is $499/month for up to three rooms of one property. Access starts with a tour.

Wedding venue software with no couple login

Not a portal with a password they will forget by August: a private link the venue issues from the party’s record, and can revoke. It carries your venue’s name. The couple read the evening at a glance, the menu as the kitchen set it and the count it is cooking for, the guest list, and the invoice. They sign the agreement by typing their full name; your GM or events manager countersigns.

They add guests one per line, or your office pastes the list; it is the same list either way, and every line records whose hand wrote it. They cannot pay online or change the menu or the count; they write to the office. More on the couple’s private page with no login.

How do wedding guests RSVP?

Each guest gets a link of their own, sent by your office from a banquette.events address under your venue’s name. No account. They see the date, the time, the seats held and the menu by course and dish, answer yes or no, set their seats, and leave one note: “Anything the kitchen should know.” They can change the answer up to the day of the event.

The couple sees that a guest told the kitchen something, never what they wrote. A declined invitation does not move the count; the count stays the office’s number. See per-guest RSVP links with dietary notes.

What does the kitchen get?

Paper, first. The day’s kitchen sheet prints from the live book: the menu, the count to cook to (the locked guarantee if there is one, otherwise the expected count) and every guest’s dietary note, with ruled lines for the pencil. A menu becomes sellable once two different chefs have signed it, and changing a course voids their signatures. Read about the BEO and the kitchen sheet and two-chef menu approval.

How are the tables laid out?

From the head count. Say two hundred and fifty and Banquette lays the room out in balanced rounds, with an optional head table and dance floor. Then move anything by hand, or turn a round into a sweetheart table. The room prints as a setup sheet with a table schedule: what to put out, how many, and the seats. It prints to scale where the room’s dimensions are recorded, and says “not to scale” where they are not.

Florals, rentals and the band, on the order

Who is coming from outside, doing what, and when the truck arrives: on the party’s record, with the load-in times the morning crew works from, and printed on the BEO. Their costs are held apart from your food and beverage, because a florist’s invoice was never your revenue.

How are payment schedules tracked?

Half at signing, a quarter ninety days out, the balance a fortnight before: kept with the agreement and shown on the couple’s page, each installment marked received, still to come or past due. The office records each payment, check, card, ACH or cash, with who took it and when, and one queue shows the money due across the book. Nothing is charged online, no card is stored and no receipt is emailed.

How does it compare with Planning Pod?

Planning Pod’s client portal, where the client views the event, chooses menus and manages the guest list, needs a login the venue invites them to create; its contracts and BEOs can be e-signed from an emailed link with no account. Its guests RSVP with no account, by typing their name on a shared event webpage, and its RSVP forms can offer meal choices. It also takes card and ACH payments, and pulls leads from WeddingWire and The Knot. Banquette has no per-guest meal choice, takes no payment online and brings in no leads from wedding marketplaces. Questions wedding venues ask

Does the couple need an account or a password?

No. The couple’s page is a private link the venue issues from the party’s record and can revoke. It opens in any browser, phone included, and the couple sign the agreement by typing their full name.

Can guests choose their meal when they RSVP?

Not yet. Guests read the evening’s menu by course and dish and leave one note for the kitchen, but the form asks for no entrée choice, and the kitchen’s counts do not use per-guest pre-orders.

Does Banquette make the seating chart?

It lays out the tables from the head count and prints a setup sheet for the room. It does not assign named guests to tables or print place cards.

Can couples pay a deposit online?

No. Banquette processes no payments and stores no card. The payment schedule is kept with the agreement and shown on the couple’s page; the office takes each payment as it does today and records it.

Can the couple read their guests’ dietary notes?

No. The couple sees only that a guest told the kitchen something. Staff at the venue read every note, and the printed kitchen sheet lists them beside the menu.

Does Banquette handle room blocks or pay vendors?

Not yet. Outside vendors sit on the party’s record with their load-in times, their costs kept apart from food and beverage, but guest-room blocks and paying vendors through the software are not built.
